500 residential units on the site of a now demolished parking garage.
500 condominiums are proposed downtown as part of a mixed-use development that will transform the area. In coordination with this project, the developer is proposing to create 171 100% income-restricted affordable units on a separate city owned parcel in Chinatown. Also, the funds the developer paid to purchase the garage from the city will go to re-build hundreds of units of Boston Housing Authority housing at Orient Heights in East Boston and Old Colony in South Boston.
