1,344 homes proposed in Southie
777 apartments and 567 condos are proposed at the former Edison Power Plant. The project also will include a 344 room hotel, 368,700 square feet of office space, and 1,397 parking spaces. The project will follow the city of Boston’s Inclusionary Development Policy, meaning that it will create 174 income-restricted affordable homes on-site.
The comment period is open until October 30th and there will be public meetings at the Tynan School on September 19th, September 26th, October 10th, and October 24th.
