25 apartments without parking proposed
25 apartments, including 4 income-restricted affordable apartments, are proposed across the street from the Andrew Square MBTA station. The current site is a vacant auto glass repair shop. This project will not include any parking due to its proximity to the T station. Without parking being constructed, these apartments will be significantly more affordable and will discourage environmentally unfriendly car usage. This breed of parking-less transit oriented development needs to be duplicated over and over across Boston.
Support for this project is needed from across the city to send a message to our elected officials that this is the type of transit-oriented development necessary to make Boston more affordable. The online comment period is open until May 25th.
