54 homes and a new adult education center
54 apartments, including 9 income-restricted affordable homes, are proposed near the Andrew Square T station. Under the new Plan Dot Ave zoning, the building is within the 60 foot height limit. The project also includes 39 parking spaces.
The building will also provide a long-term home in South Boston for the existing Notre Dame Education Center, which provides adult education. The school will be forced to close if this project is not approved. It is currently renting the property, but will own their space under the proposed project. The entire ground level space will be donated by the developer.
The comment period is open until June 11th.
